Fads & Flops app for iPhone and iPad
Developer: Linn Stanton
First release : 12 Jan 2016
App size: 161.16 Mb
A multi-player game that tests what you know - or think you know about 400 years of ideas and inventions that either lasted for ages or failed miserably in the blink of an eye.
For instance, did you know that Yale University claims to be the birthplace of the Frisbee – in 1820?
To play the game, read about a fad or flop, then decide which of four unusual, sometimes weird, and occasionally thought-provoking ‘facts’ are real or not. Players make their guesses and then find out who really knew the story behind the Pet Rock, zoot suits, Ouija boards, and hundreds of other innovations. Up to four players can compete at once but there is also a solo mode as well as a more challenging expert mode for the trivia fanatic. Finally, an electronic game that will make everyone put down their phones, except to google answers!
A fun, quirky game that will leave you wanting to know more…
